During the month of September, we honor our workers, remember the tragic events of September 11th, and celebrate the founding of the United States Air Force.
On Labor Day, we proudly honor the American labor movement and the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws and well-being of our country.
During this month, we also remind ourselves to never forget those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 – the day our nation suffered one of the worst terrorist attacks in its history.
Lastly, on September 18th, we mark the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the United States Air Force. I would like to wish the Air Force and all of its members a very happy birthday, especially those serving at the March Air Reserve Base today!
