The Assembly Select Committee on the State of Hate invite you to its second hearing on October 29, 2019. At a time when hate is on the rise, this hearing takes on increased importance, and will focus on the current state of various forms hate in California and beyond in an effort to explore ways to effectively address it. In association with California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB), this hearing will feature a panel discussion with representatives from the CSUSB’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, and the former leader of a white nationalist group.
