SACRAMENTO, CA— Assemblymember Jose Medina (D-Riverside) released the following statement on the California Community College Board of Governor’s recognition of Madera Community College as the 116^th college in California:

“I want to congratulate Madera Community College on its official recognition as a California Community College, making it the 116^th college in California. This college will help fill a great need in the Central Valley and increase access to quality educational and career opportunities for local students. I wish Madera Community College much success as it grows and serves its community.”
