Inland SoCal 211+

2-1-1 is a free information and referral service supported by Inland SoCal United Way that connects people to health and human services in their community.

In 2016, California 2-1-1 programs responded to over 2.8 million inquiries from people seeking services such as rent and mortgage assistance, food and shelter, health care, job training, transportation, child care, and elder care.

Community Action Partnership

Community Action Partnership is a national, 501(c)3 nonprofit membership organization that provides technical assistance, training, and other resources to Community Action Agencies, nonprofit and public groups funded by the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), a federal program that allocates funding to states to connect Americans to greater opportunity.

Community Action comes out of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s War on Poverty and from the advocacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

UC Riverside Basic Needs

UC Riverside’s Basic Needs Department is a place where students can connect with essential resources that make college life easier. If you are experiencing basic needs challenges, such as food insecurity, housing displacement/homelessness, or financial crisis, we encourage you to reach out to them for assistance.
