Medina Presents Cinco de Mayo Resolution to State Assembly

(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Jose Medina (D-Riverside) presented House Resolution 49 to the State Assembly to begin Cinco de Mayo Week in California. “Cinco de Mayo is a significant date in the history of California and Mexico,” said Assemblymember Medina. “And it has become a day when we celebrate the courage, achievements and contributions by Latinos in California throughout all facets of our community.”  Here’s more in this Assembly Access video.
