Youth Advisory Committee

Youth Advisory Council

A great way for our youth to make real change in their communities is to get involved and make their voices heard. Assemblymember Jose Medina seeks bright, self-motivated, energetic high school juniors to serve on the YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

The Youth Advisory Committee gives students the opportunity to learn the inner workings of state government and the legislative process. Youth Advisory Committee members will meet on a monthly basis to discuss issues important to their communities and share ideas on youth related issues. Students will get the opportunity to travel to  the California State Capitol in Sacramento, visit Assemblymember Medina and tour the historic Capitol building! Please use the application below to apply for the 2017-2018 School Year.
