Assemblymember McKinnor led a women's march for 1 mile, starting and ending at Inglewood City Hall, followed by a rally with guest speakers.

Assemblymember McKinnor, along with dedicated community partners, conducted a backpack giveaway & health fair. Backpacks were available for the first 1,000 K-12th grade students. Along with backpacks, health screenings, eye exams, legislative information and FREE haircuts were offered!

Assemblymember Tina McKinnor honored Elizabeth Kane as District 61's Woman of the Year on the Assembly Floor.

Assemblymember McKinnor held her annual Disaster Preparedness Fair, which included exhibits to educate attendees on how to create a disaster supply kit, develop a family emergency plan, what to do during different types of emergencies and more!

Assemblymember McKinnor held a Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway and Health Fair in the Imperial/Crenshaw Shopping Center in Inglewood. Free backpacks were available for K - 12th grade students. The Health Fair featured free services available to all in the community, including dental health screenings, blood pressure tests, vision tests and more.

Assemblymember McKinnor presided over her first hearing as Chair of the Assembly PERS Committee.

Assemblymember McKinnor's office was joined by the American Red Cross, local fire department and community organizations for a FREE Disaster Preparation Fair. Constituents viewed exhibits displaying emergency supplies, emergency equipment and more.

Constituents learned how to create a disaster supply kit, how to develop a family emergency plan and what to do during different types of emergencies to help prepare for and respond to disasters.

Assemblymember McKinnor and legislative co-authors held a press conference at the State Capitol to announce the introduction of AB 1 to give legislative staff the choice to join a union.

Assemblymember McKinnor was sworn-in on Friday, September 9 at the Judith and Thomas L. Beckmen YOLA Center in Inglewood.
