School Backpack Giveaway and Health Fair

Please join me in partnership with Inglewood City Councilmember Dionne Faulk and 101 Enterprise Foundation for a Back-to School Backpack Giveaway and Health Fair!

The Health Fair will feature free services to the community, including dental health screenings, blood pressure tests, vision tests and more! Free haircuts will also be available.

Virtual Budget & Legislative Town Hall

We are delighted to invite you to an upcoming Virtual Legislative Roundtable that I am hosting via Zoom. Your participation and expertise are highly valued and we are eager to include your voice in our pivotal discussions. Your insights and engagement are crucial to the success of this event. We look forward to your participation and to collectively explore ways to advance our shared goals for the betterment of California.

Agenda Highlights:

  • Opening Remarks: Assemblymember McKinnor will warmly welcome attendees and acknowledge the importance of your contributions.
  • State Budget Overview: A concise five-minute report on the state budget will be delivered by Chief of Staff Terry Schanz, focusing on key allocations and their implications.
  • Active Bills Presentation: Our capital staff, including Jonathan, Sean, Malik and Terry Schanz, will share insights on active bills such as AB 1869, AB 1875 and others, over a 30-minute segment. This is an opportunity to delve into the legislative intent and impact of these bills.
  • Open Discussion and Q&A: The roundtable will feature a 15-minute session dedicated to your questions and discussions, allowing for a rich exchange of ideas and feedback.
  • Closing Remarks: Assemblymember McKinnor will conclude the event by emphasizing the significance of ongoing collaboration and open communication in achieving positive outcomes for California.

Natural Disaster Preparedness Fair

Join Assemblymember Tina McKinnor, in partnership with the American Red Cross, local fire department and community organizations for a free disaster preparedness fair.

The fair will feature important information and resources on emergency preparedness.

Participants will receive a FREE preparedness kit.

Acompaña a la Asambleísta Tina McKinnor, en asociación con la Cruz Roja Americana, el departamento de bomberos local y organizaciones comunitarias para una feria gratuita de preparación para desastres.

La feria contara con información y recursos importantes sobre preparación para emergencias.

Los participantes recibirán un kit de preparación gratuito.

Back to School Backpack Giveaway and Health Fair

Join us for this year’s Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway and Health Fair!

Free backpacks will be available for the first 1,000 K — 12th grade students who attend.

The Health Fair will feature free services available to all in the community, including dental health screenings, blood pressure tests, vision tests and more. Free haircuts will also be available.

Free items are not at the expense of taxpayers.

Annual Drive-Thru Turkey Giveaway

Happy Thanksgiving! Join me and my staff, in partnership with 101 Enterprises Foundation 501(c)(3), Community Worship Center Church and dedicated community partners for a Drive-Thru Turkey Giveaway.

Drive up to the Community Worship Center and staff will direct you towards the turkeys! We will distribute 1 FREE turkey per household while supplies last.
