(INGLEWOOD, CA) – Assemblymember Tina McKinnor (D - Inglewood) will host two drive through back to school resource fairs, helping families across her district prepare for the upcoming school year. McKinnor is partnering with non-profit organizations to offer 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for students on a first come, first served basis. To reduce possible exposure to COVID-19, families will be able to drive up to the event and receive the school materials from a volunteer while remaining in their car. Assemblymember McKinnor will also be on hand to discuss legislative issues including the historic investments in public education that she voted for as part of the 2022-23 state budget.
